Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

My screen is flickering on and off on Vizio LCD TV? I was wondering if it was the main board or the T-Con board.

Flickering can be either with the fault to its back-light inverter or with its main power supply regulator board.

Hi,
Probably the T con board is faulty. T con board is the one which drives the lcd pixels. Chekc the video to identify the t con board. Also try to remove the connection to T con board and reconnect it. some times bad contact on those connectors can lead to such problems.

Vizio e470i-ao no picture just sound what part do i need

Measure all the voltages coming off the power supply board first. Then move to the board that controls the picture. This board has one or two wide flat flexible cables running form it to the bottom of the screen.

Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. My Vizio E320i-A0 tv, has barley any picture when i pug in and turn on, VERY faint logo on screen, How do I fix it?

The picture settings may have been set very low. You can reset to the factory default settings using the steps below. You may also try selecting different inputs to see if the brightness is the same on all of them.

1. From the Picture Settings menu, use the
Arrow buttons to highlight 'More' , then press OK.

2 . Use the Arrow buttons on the remote to highlight 'Reset Picture Mode', then press OK. The TV displays, "Are you sure
you want to RESET Picture Settings to the factory defaults?"

3 . Highlight Yes and press OK.

4 .Press the EXIT button on the remote.

Buy a new TV...chances are its a bad panel if you replaced all the boards

There are additional small boards in the frame around the panel. I didn't take the TV apart to point where I could see what's on them. Can these fail?

Those aren't replaceable, they connect the output of the timing board to the panel, they are part of the panel itself
