Technically, yes, but there are some challenges. First, the input voltage to the amp is 12VDC, not 120VAC. You would need to find a power supply large enough to supply 12VDC at 30-40 amps (plus has proper currently limiting or fuses to protect against overloading). Second, most home speakers are 8 ohm impedance. While the amp can power an 8 ohm speaker, the output power is cut in half (compared to a 4 ohm speaker).

You can buy replacement rubber threads for this model from any store that sells automatic pool cleaners. They are easy to install and the instructions should be included in the packaging. This is something that you should easily be able to handle yourself.

2 years later... I just picked one of these up at a yard sale... R10 is actually a diode. The code is buried, but ends in N1.

I found an owners manual (free) on line for an ACD-21. It has pics so you can see if

The amp is supposed to turn on and off with the head unit. The remote wire on the amp should be connected t othe amp control/power antenna wire of the head unit.

The pop should go away when the remote is being switched on with the head unit.

If the amp is staying on with the key removed, it will drain your battery. You need to re-wire it so you don't get stranded.
