I've printer ricoh sp c250sf. i was printing some papers and all of sudden it stopped and shows error Service Call SC396. Please guide me how to resolve this issue

Problem with drum motor.. Unplug..reboot , try again ..If pproblem starts again you may have to replace the drum motor.

• Defective PSU
• Defective lOB
• Defective EGB
Related SC code: SC 543
1. Replace the PSU.
2. Replace the lOB.
3. Replace the EGB.
This is the simptoms of the service manual , you should check that your power output is stable and double check if there is not anything like paper stuck some were in the fuzing unit wich could also cause the fuzer to over heat

check Ricoh website to trouble shoot if does not reset.

When you go to your devices and printers , right click on the ricoh printer and click on printer properties , the go to the advanced tab on top and click on it , then bottom left there should be a option for printing defaults , click on it and select the double sided option there !

How do i fix the error message set pcu correctly on my ricoh aficio sp c811dn
Turn the machine off. Open the access door and remove the cyan photoconductor unit. Check the contact pins are straight and undamaged. Gently reinsert the unit. Turn the power back on. If the machine still does not recognise the pcu is inserted it is probably damaged and needs replacing. How many copies/prints has your machine done?

Hi all, I have a problem with a Ricoh C410dn , the error code is SC396, what does it mean ? Or do you know where to get a service manual for this printer ? Thank you very much
sc396 is an overload error for the black drum motor. You can try removing and replacing the black drum and making sure nothing is obstructing its movement (like a scrap of paper stuck somewhere or a chipped gear). You might want to have a service technician take a look at it if you can't find anything, to see if the motor needs to be replaced.
