My telstra phone works with my dodo sim card for calls and texts but not with photos sending or receiving it is HTC

Phone your provider and start a email account you will need some data . they will give you a email address and you will make a password , you can then make a free gmail account with another email address and password if you want, Most people forget there password and it causes grief, I use name age and street name and number , example only, James43main25 ,easy to remember hard to hack.

Hi, issues like this are related to your Sim card (network),
not your Cell Phone . In most cases, regarding the text messages,
the problem is from the Service Operator. Have you tried the Sim card on another phone? If not,
remove the Sim card, insert it on another phone and try sending a message from another mobile to you number,
or you can do it in vise- versa by inserting another Sim card on your mobile.

If you can't receive text messages even when it's inserted on another handset,
then you will need to call the customer care of your Network Operator and tell
them your problem, they will help you fix it immediately.

You can check the message center number, but I don't think
it's very much important in your case, well, if you wanna try,
just check the text message settings and verify that the message
center number (which is currently in use) is the same number which
is on another phone with the same network (the other Sim should be
of the same network in your area). If it's different, make the changes
and save the settings. Also disable the "Receive Via" or similar settings..
(I can't recollect the exact settings as i don't have the same model with
me, please excuse me for this.).

If the same Sim card doesn't receive text messages using another handset,
don't bother to change the settings or to make any changes with it,
first call the customer care and verify from them, you may make mistakes instead of fixing it.

It may be an error with your carrier's high speed data network. Try the following:
Go to MENU>SETTINGS>WIRELESS&NETWORKS>MOBILE NETWORKS>NETWORK MODE
Then change the settings from GSM / WCDMA auto to GSM only. Note that these two options may be different because different carriers helpfully call their various features different things. Basically take the phone off the "auto" mode and set it to use the slowest network setting possible (in my case GSM). You should notice your signal bars increasing immediately. This should also allow you to send texts etc normally. If the problem persists then as ever, take it back to the shop and tell then about your problem again.

Just had this on my wifes phone. I did 2 things she had too many Apps & phone was showing out of memory in top left hand corner. 1) Delete large Apps 2) Select MESSAGES, MENU,SETTINGS,MENU, RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS. Hope this is of some help. Steve

-also these: validity period>maximum
message senr as>text
-call settings>send my caller id>set by network

have the same problem. its the phone, not the sim card, as i have tried different sim cards and it works...

probly a sfotware update..
