SOURCE: I have an AO5 error

This indicates a power fault inside the actual heater. Have you tried unplugging the heater, letting it sit for a good 2 minutes, and replugging it back in? If the problem persists you will unfortunately need a repair. Please let me know if you need more information on this. You can also contact comfort zone, the manufacturer, located in Canada, at 780-420-6572.

Thanks so much for the question,

Tim

I have just had a Comfort Zone CZ230ER heater installed in my garage. The room temp sensor is reading in reverse, Goes up as the room cools and goes down as the room warms.

That would be a warranty issue, but wonder if you are reading set temperature, ambient temperature or 'set back' temperature? Contact the maker.

E1 error code on a cz220 comfort zone model heater what does it mean

The E1 error code on a Comfort Zone CZ220 heater indicates a problem with the high-temperature limit switch. This switch is a safety feature that shuts off the heater if it overheats.
To clear the error code, you can try resetting the heater by unplugging it from the power outlet and waiting for at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in. If the error code persists, it may indicate a more serious issue with the heater that requires professional repair.

Comfort Zone CZ220 5000-Watt, 240v Hard Wired Fan Heater. The cutoff and the red light came on. What causes this to happen? I'm thinking it's overheating but what would cause it to overheat?

Question edited for a lot more clarity. A lonely model number in Cars and Trucks category doesn't cut it. FULL 'make model (what it is)' please.

Fan not spinning fast enough or thermostat not working properly. Possibly a faulty overheat cut out.
