I’m waiting on a SIM card from straight talk . My cellular data does not work away from WiFi. They said I would get it in about a week. Can I get a SIM card from Walmart from which I got my straight talk service?

You should activate mobile data from SIM card and disable the WiFi.

Straight Talk does NOT mean unlock! Straight Talk is a pay-as-you go cellular phone service...A company that sells the phones and the service. I highly doubt that the phone would work overseas.

You should be able to use your SIM card in any phone as long as the phone is not locked to a network. Whether your calling plan allows data is another issue.

i also have straight talk... its not the sim card its self that wont work with the 30 dollar plan.... it depends on the type of phone that you have. There's alot of data useage when it comes to the smartphones so the prefer that you purchase the unlimited plan that way your phone would work properly....
