How do I remove paint overspray from the top of a clothes dryer

Hi,
You could try nail polish remover on a old (but clean) cloth/rag.
If it's works OK, you might want to dash-out & buy some really cheap nail polish remover, rather than waste the good stuff on this job.??
If there's really a lot of overspray, then buying a litre of proper paint thinners from a commercial paint store would make more sense.

(Note to self: Get newspapers or old bedsheets next time, to cover/mask everything I don't want painting.!!!)

Best of luck.

How to remove grease splashes from emulsion painted wall

Basically you can't without affecting the Paint underneath ((
If only light splashes then a conventional kitchen cleaner will do BUT only put the cleaner on the cloth, work a small area at a time.
After doing getting it off and allowing it to dry, then use a lint free cloth, soaked in warm water to "scrub" paint from surrounding areas into damaged area but not too hard otherwise will go through the paint levels. Then allow to dry naturally ))

How do you remove dried gloss paint from laminate floor

Try using a steam iron, put a damp cloth on top of the paint and then the iron on top and steam the paint, it may soften it enough to get it off with a plastic scraper so you don't mar the floor finish.

The flat screen tv was sprayed with paint right across the screen we need to know if there a way to get it off.....my email address is [email protected]

buy a solvent called paint thinner from paint selling shops .............. using this paint thinner easily paint on your tv screen can be removed without any damage to screen .......remove tv powercord from power socket ......take thinner in small cup ...... take a small piece of soft clothe ..... dip in that cup such that soft clothe becomes just wet ....then slowly clean that particular place where paint is there .....same time keep another soft dry clothe in your other hand ......while cleaning with thinner paint on screen becomes thin then immediately clean it with other clothe..........remember while cleaning thinner's drops should not fall down & go inside tv through edges of screen ....... since this thinner smells like a paint after cleaning tv screen will have paint like smell ..............so again you have to repeat above steps but this time you have use soap water or any ordinary cleaning solution ....................................... click below shown link for images of thinner..... http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=paint%20thinner&rlz=1R2SUNC_enIN399&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=0l0l0l156l0l0l0l0l0l0l0l0ll0l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1024&bih=418&wrapid=tlif131594078475010&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi

Paint peeling

The paint you need is called microwave cavity paint. If they don't have it at your local hardware store, you may get it at www.appliance411.com/data.php?rc=277

Be sure to sand the area first with some emory cloth to remove any loose paint flakes.

Need to remove DOT tape.

A heat gun (careful, some heat guns will remove paint!), or 1200 or higher wattage hair drier held over the tape while sliding a putty knife under the paint is the best method. The heat softens the adhesive and makes the tape easier to remove without damaging the paint. You'll still likely have to go back with lighter fluid and a cotton cloth to remove the adhesive still stuck to the paint. Don't use acetone or paint thinners, they attack the paint!

Try using WD-40 - no kidding! It works wonders for removing spray paint depending on the type and how long it's been on.
