You can YouTube the type of remote to the jvc and any other tv, and it should give you a guide on how to do it.

Some TV's will no longer support the youtube app. Google your model of TV to see if it has been affected. Youtube may no longer be supporting smart hub and there could be one final smart hub update to fix stability issues before the support is discontinued. Some people have had success by deleting and reinstalling the youtube app or even unplugging the TV while the app is frozen and then plugging it back in and turning it on.

I'd suggest to factory reset the TV.

i have a jvc smart tv i bought on monday and giving the same error i contacted the knowhow support and they said jvc servers are down and they are waitin on a response from jvc it might never work again he told me. i am taking my tv back to the shop tomorrow as this ia rubbish

If Showmax say that the model is not supported, then you will never get Showmax on the JVC, till they allow it.

You can ask JVC about it. If there is an adapter.

If you have just bought the TV, you could ask the dealer for a trade in to one that does support Showmax.

Youtube have removed support for many smart tvs. recently.

Hi, you can try firmware update online or by usb if it isn't in the last version yet.
The other solution is replace the main board (motherboard)

Corrupted firmware. Update it.
