Yeah, I just got one too and I have no USB thingy, and I kinda need my memory card.... hmmm.... maybe it should come with one. That's a bright idea huh! And how on Earth do you get music on it?!

I got one for xmas and pics download easily every time. I connect my camera to the laptop then load the shots I want onto the SD card on the camera, disconnect and remove the SD card from the camera then insert in the frame. I have had no problems with photo size or downloading time. I do have a problem when I remove images from the SD card however. The frame still displays images that I deleted and are not showing when I connect to the laptop! Can anyone help?

Here`s a tip i found for you...
1. Connect the frame to your PC using the supplied USB connector.
Navigate to the \DCIM\100Frame directory and delete all the Phillips
advertising pictures there.
2. Create a directory on your PC and put copies of all the pictures you want to display there.
3. Download the free picture resizer utility from Microsoft at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
(Look
for Image Resizer in the right column). After installing it, "Select
All" pictures in the directory you created, then right click and select
"Resize Pictures" from the context menu. Choose the 640x400 radio
button. Sort by size and copy all the small ones into the
"\DCIM\100Frame" directory on the frame drive (Called Removable Disk on
my PC).

Put the card back into the camera and off load/take off your pictures (Put them on the computer). Then, put the card back into the camera and go to your options menu. Find the format feature, and format the card. Take some new pictures and then try putting the card back into the picture frame. Does it work? If so, transfer the images from your computer back to the card. If it continues to work, then Great! If not, more than likely there is an improper or corrupt file among your photos.
Good Luck!

I had the same problem and called Nextar Support. The gal I spoke with asked how big my SD card was and informed me that the capacity for this frame is only 2 GB. Sure enough, my card was 4 GB. I transferred the pictures to a 2 GB card and it works great! (Note to Nextar: might be nice if they put this somewhere in the paperwork BEFORE people buy an SD card.)
You can either transfer your photos and videos to your computer first (See your NOKIA Lumia 521 Users Manual), and then transfer them from your computer to a MicroSd card that is used with your 8" Aluratek Digital Photo Frame
OR
Your NOKIA Lumia 521 phone supports a MicroSD memory card with a capacity of up to 64 GB. When you take photos and videos using your phone, store them to the Memory Card directly. You can then simply take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into the Aluratek Digital Photo Frame for viewing.
