Flashing red just says turn it off because the battery is getting low. i guess thats cos it wont charge. wait 1 hour for temperature to become normal. wash filters and wait 24hrs til they are dry.check and clean battery contacts. those are the things the manuals list to try.

The battery is probably dead, as it's rated for 400 cycles. When you have the dock's feet out, you can see 2 tiny screws on the back of the unit, unscrew them, remove the hatch and you'll have your battery exposed. 3.7V 1800mAh Li-Ion
