Test power cord,each wiring, bad contact, bad solder, loose contact, corroded contac, and repair or replace it. As instructed in the tutorial.

SOURCE: life fitness crosstrainer 9500 HR just shut down few second after start

see the video and fix it. This happen because the lack of maintenance schedule.God bless you

Try having the TV tuner run the process of re- indexing / re- discovering the channels
That should immediately tell you if the receiver is having a problem
If it cant connect to known good channels then there may be a failure on one of the boards
Othwise that should fix the problem and allow access to the skipped channels

Crank Arm Cover Removal and Replacement Video for the 95Xi LifeFitness Crosstrainer


  • This video demonstrates how to remove and replace a Crank Arm Cover on a Life Fitness 95Xi Crosstrainer elliptical


Necessary Tools:


  • Philips Screwdriver


  • 5/32" Allen Wrench


  • 2MM Allen Wrench


  • T25 Driver


  • T50 Driver




  1. Remove the main shrouds as seen in the shroud replacement video


  2. Remove the outer link cover as seen in the outer link cover removal video


  3. Remove the pedal lever assembly (as seen in Sportsmith's Pedal Lever Replacement video) on the side where the crank arm cover replacement is needed


  4. Remove the two bolts holding the crank arm cover in place, and remove the crank arm cover


  5. Replace the parts in reverse order

Drive Belt Replacement Video for LifeFitness 95Xi Crosstrainer Elliptical

Tools needed:


  • Philips Screwdriver


  • T25 Driver


  • T50 Driver


  • 2MM Allen Wrench


  • 5/32" Allen Wrench




  1. Remove the main shrouds as seen in the main shroud removal video


  2. Remove the left outer link cover as seen in the Outer Link Cover removal video


  3. Remove the left pedal lever assembly as seen in Sportsmith's Pedal Lever replacement video


  4. Remove the two bolts holding the crank arm cover in place, and remove the crank arm cover


  5. Walk the drive belt off the pulley and remove it from the unit


  6. Install the new belt around the crossover shaft first and then walk it onto the pulley


  7. Replace the remaining parts in reverse order

you have changed your display settings by mistake.from the sys key on ur remote control there are 7 display resolution and frequency options.though u r unable to get the display, press sys key one by one with 10 sec pause untill u will get the proper display.
