I think it is that you might have to restore your ipod to its original firmware and reinstall the apps. If this doesn't help, call apple and let them fix your itouch. Also these days, anyone that jailbreaks their itouch gets their itouch screwed because apple does not allow jailbreaking.

You will not likely need this device in Hawaii ... very easy to get around once you learn to pronounce the words. "Lea Lea Hale" is "Leah Leah Holly" - "Like Like Highway" for example is "Leekay Leekay Highway" and you forget North, South, East and West. You will use Mauka, Makai, Eva Beach and Diamond Head instead.

Once you know Mauka means toward the mountain (inland) and Makai is toward the Sea - where Eva Beach (West) is and where Diamond head is (East) - there is not much else you will need to know. Oh yea, windward and leaward are also important to know. Honolulu is on the leaward side of the island.

If take it you must, put in the suit case and plug it in when you get there. It will work or it will not work. You can always go to an electronics store in the "Ala Moana Shopping Center" and ask for help. I suspect it will work, though I am not familiar with this particular model.
