OPEN THE WEB PAGE IN CHROME AND USE GOOGLE TRANSLITERATE TO CHANG LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH ,WHEN YOU GET ENGLISH GO TO PROFILE AND CHANG LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH
i have a garmin Nuvi when i turn it on i select agree it loads up all maps then it opens with 6 separate screens select locale you should see at the top of a list A with country and languge press thst to change you the languge also
agree and loads up the maps then it will have 3 options where to view map and travel kit press travel kit then it has 2 more options words and phrases and bilingual dictionaries press bilingual dictionaries there you will see translation of english to spanish french german and many other countries

You will have to check 2 settings. First one. Tap on the screen.
Tap on change preferences. Tap on the arrow 3 times. You should be on
page: Preferences 4 of 6 by now. Tap on change language. Tap on English
US. Tap on Yes.
Since its in german.. You may need to use google translate to translate the german to english just so you know what screens in german match with the screens listed above.

Try this site to translate what is on the screen then you can select the options to change the language back to English. Set the translation from German to English.
