The computer occasionally does not hibernate and you receive an “Insufficient System Resources Exist to Complete the API” error message in Windows XP with Service Pack 2, in Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, or in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
Apparently, the problem is caused by the fact that the Windows kernel power manager doesn’t manage to find a block of contiguous memory to hibernate. This happens occasionally on laptops with 2Gb of RAM. It can be quite annoying when you put your laptop to sleep, pop it in your haversack, then some time later find a discharged battery and a VERY HOT laptop bag , it’s nice that they solved the problem, HOWEVER, you can’t actually download the hotfix, but have to contact Product Support Services for it. I’m not sure if there’s a fee to be paid for it, so I just Googled the hotfix and found a copy elsewhere.
Here’s a copy if anyone wants it: Download here: http://www.u-g-h.com/content/binary/WindowsXP-KB909095-x86-ENU.exe

Yes, this is one solution. Not very cost effective though.
(Tempting though, huh? One 12 gauge blast, and.....WAIT! Back to the solution, lol!)
No, I suggest you install the Hotfix from Microsoft instead.

I am assuming that the printer is connected to a network. Please check the network cables to make sure they are secured, and then try printing the network setup page. The network setup page will show status connected. If the status is not connected, contact your system support person to make sure the network is functioning correctly
Before sending a job to print, make sure the printer is set to ready state. Ready or Power Saver appears on the display. Please check the status of the toner and check that you are using the correct printer driver.
Printer driver is available on the Lexmark website for download. If no fix, for other information please click the link http://bit.ly/k2p8B5
