Erasing the pictures using the computer is the problem. Your camera does not recognize the card anymore. If your pics are safely on your computer, format the card in the camera to get it working again.

If it is Sony DSC-T1 camera then it got ccd imager chip failure problem that is why no image in lcd screen to take fresh picture.
CCD Imager chip will be replaced to fix this issue.

This is known issue of ccd imager chip failure in Sony DSC-T33 camera and ccd imager chip will be replaced to get correct live view to take pictures.

I have a DCR-HC30 Sony Camcorder but I open the lens cover but I still can't see through the lense it still says cover not open

This is problem of ccd imager chip failure in your DCR-HC30 camcorder and ccd imager chip will be replaced to get live view in camera mode.
