I dropped my phone in the bath it was fine for one min till i turned the screen off and now it wont turn on it charges and i dont know how to reset it. how do we reset sony xperia xa?

To test if it is your charger, test the same charger you use on another lg phone to see if it works.

If it does not work, then it is the charger that has a fault.

The solution to that is for you to replace the charger.

But if the charger works, then it means there is a problem with the charging port of your phone, it probably got damaged when you phone dropped.

The charging port is the place you plug your charger on your phone.

You can get an extra battery and a universal charger so you can charge a battery while the other is in use.

But if you want to fix it, this is how you fix it;

1. You have to get the appropriate screwdriver,
2. Turn your phone over so the battery cover is facing you. Remove the battery cover and battery.
   
3. Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers and unscrew the aerial.
4. Remove the screws.
5. Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers & screws above the main screen.
6. Unclip the ribbon that is by the top left at the back of the phone.
7. After removing the ribbon cable, carefully lift the metal part. Another ribbon will be attached which should be carefully removed. Take the circuit board and you will see the charging port.
8. Carefully disconnect it and replace it with a new one and solder it with a pin tip soldering iron.
9. Reverse the process to reassemble the phone.
