If the motor is reversible, you will have 4 small leads that have pigtails that will connect to eachother to make the circuit. Usually they are 2 colors and you will either hook up the matching colors for CCW or opposite colors for CW. If you do not have these leads, you will more than likely have a non reversible motor. You can also look at the data plate on the motor itself and it will tell you the rotation. If it says REV. then it's reversible. Hope this helps and good luck!

you can reverse the rotation CCW to CW if you reverse the wiring on the brushes

First see if the switch has a reverse position. Sometimes you turn the fan assembly in the frame, sometimes you turn the whole frame around. Take the cover off the wiring compartment to see if there are instructions there. Also check on the name plate on the motor, there may be instructions there. Attic fans are usually engineered to blow out.
