Our aeg dishwasher isn’t switching on - AEG Dishwashers

Did you check the emergency shut off switch? Almost all under the counter dishwashers have a wall switch to interrupt the power. The problem is it can be shut of on accident.

The most common cause of a fault "i10" is closed valve on the water supply line. So this failure indicates a problem with filling of water.
Possible error causes:
Closed water tap, Inlet valve faulty, inlet hose bent, softener system clogged, pressure switch or pressure switch hose obstructed or leaking, wiring from pressure switch to printed circuit board (PCB), wiring from inlet valve to PCB and finally PCB.

al4 is tripping of anti flood float switch in base of machine. look for a leak mopping out the base resets the switch

Just pulled machine right out, tipped it over on the side, couldn't see anything obvious or a way "in", so re-positioned it - switched on - error message gone and all working fine !!?!

Hello everyone. Have just fixed a problem with my aeg dishwasher thanks to this site. My anti flood switch in, so I unpluged, pulled the machine out, tilted it, wiggled the outlet hose, which I think was a little kinked and way hay it works. Thanks FIX YA. Good luck everyone. Carolyn

I had this same problem on our AEG dishwasher. The reason was on the controller board. There is one relay switch which drives the heater element.One of the legs of that relay box was disconnecteds from the circuitboard. Check this out.

I don't know what "the timer? has gone" means. You can't clear the timer or reset it? I would call their support. There is also support in the UK. But you can take a look at the following page:
