SOURCE: Freezer drawer closes on right but gaps on left

I had this problem with my Kenmore bottom freezer drawer also. I found that the problem was I had too much weight at the very front of the drawer. Try reorganizing and moving items, especially heavier items away from the very front. Worked for me.

Ice forming in the bottom of the freezer. eventually melting and ending with water running on the floor from both corners of freezer

Check the seal on the door and make sure it is "sound". Pay particular attention to the bottom or underside of the freezer door / drawer. Make sure nothing is preventing a seal between the fridge case and door. Misfigured, distorted or otherwise damaged seals can cause frost build up as you describe. Clear any objects / replace damaged seals found.

Good luck!

I just bought a house with a Kenmore stainless steel bottom drawer freezer. The freezer drawer does not close completely and large amounts of snow and ice accumulate inside. I have taken the drawer out,...

Check top see if the arms of the drawer are fully seated into the rails which support it and extend from inside the freezer when the drawer is opened. On most french door refrig's, there are hooks on the back side and tabs on the front side which are sometimes hard to get back in. Then the door is locked into the rail with a screw at the point where the rail meets the freezer door.

Freezer working but refridgerator at room temp. Door seal hot.

either the evaporator coil is iced up which means the defrost heater is bad,the defrost control is bad or the damper vent door which throttles cold air in isn't opening fully from the freezer to refrige, the evaporator fan isn't running or if electronically operated the main board behind the unit can be bad on these as this board controls all electrical issues

Ice under freezer drawer

Hi, Check in the back rear of the freezer and se if you have ice built up. MOST cases the defrost drain gets plugged behind the rear freezer wall under the evaporator.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks
