Model nimber is blocked out for some reason. But dont try to repair a microwave unless you understand how to work with high voltages. The voltages you are dealing with here are lethal. You must discharge the capacitor before any work can be done. Generally only two parts are do most of the failures, the diodes an the large capacitor. If you do not have the proper gear to test leave it alone. The cost to repair is usually runs higher than the cost of a new microwave.
This is not a solution, it is a clarification request, but it looks like FixYa took away that helpful option, too.
I would suggest you post a whole new help request and be sure to tell us:
1. The FULL model number from the tag in or on the microwave. A full Sears/Kenmore
model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as
###.########
2. Let us know when it beeps. Is it only after cooking? While it's setting idle?
3. Next, let us know if the display has anything in it besides the normal clock time.
A good first step might be a hard reset, accomplished by unplugging the oven for a minute or two, plugging it back in, then resetting the clock.
My Kenmore Elite microwave (don't have the model number in front of me) also mysteriously locked its own keypad (we were sitting in an adjacent room, heard a strange beep, and got up to find the LED reading "Locked."). I pressed and held down the Stop/Clear button for ~10 seconds and it returned to normal.
