Pressing the "-" button on the control panel will cycle through the 3 or 4 available beep tones / volumes. No need to press any other buttons during or before this process.

Shame Hotpoint didn't see fit to put this in the manual. We dicovered it by mistake!

Thank you so much. This worked on my Hotpoint BD62. I could hardly hear it and like you said, it's not in the manual!

My son found that if you press one of the buttons whilst the timer is beeping, that will make it louder again. Cant remember which button sorry, might even be two buttons to press. It might well be explained in the manual which you can perhaps download online if you've lost the original? Good luck!

My Hotpoint BS22 electric fan oven timer alarm has gone really quiet. How do I turn the volume up??

You can't unfortunately. It sounds like the control board is starting to fail. I would suggest having it repaired before it completely fails. Therepairshack.com offers a service that can fix this for you.

I have a Hotpoint Double oven DQ471/2. The timer bleep is so quiet I cannot hear it and my partner who has a hearing difficulty finds it impossible. Our old New World oven had a bleep which was...

unfortunately there is no way of increasing volume of the bleep. its basically a simple beeper on the timer with no way of adjusting.
sorry cant be of much more help but what i will say is you should contact hotpoint about this problem as obviously is a design flaw.
