SOURCE: I am trying to find

I couldn't find any information for that Model #. Cassette players are, for the most part, getting phased out with the development of CD's and MP3's. Their most current model isn't even available to purchase any longer. Sony Customer Support may be able to help you get the belts you need.

You can reach Sony Electronics Customer Support by going to http://www.sony.com/support or by calling 1-888-476-6972.

SOURCE: Is it possible to obtain a GPX C3317RS Personal

Did you try to use a search engine first?

"GPX C3317RS manual" leads to gpx..com which leads to http://www.gpx.com/store/pg/78-GPX-Support.aspx which doesn't have the model you seek but who would know better where to find it than they would?

You need this type of adapter. You will have to pay attention to the polarity

Had a GPX S7794 for years, now having trouble w/ turntable. Turns on by moving tone arm right, but if moved left to try to place it on a track towards the end of the record, turntable shuts off.

What happens is that a mechanical system under the turntable pushes on a micro switch to operate the motor. Clearly either the mechanical system has moved out of position or the switch has. You take the bottom off the turntable and see what happens when you move the arm.

I have a GPX model CAS337B v 1902-01 cassette player with am/fm radio. When I play the cassette, there is no sound. What to do?

First check if the tape is moving during playback. If it is not there could be something wrong with the mechanism, such as a drive belt being off. If it is moving. Then it could be that a tiny leaf switch has become broken or bent cutting the sound off. Other issues include a faulty switch that controls the switching from the radio to tape. Could be just dirt in the switch. Or the pre-amp failure of the cassette player.

My cassette player does not work on my SONY CFD-50 boom box. The drive motor runs but does not forward or re-wind the tape. If the drive belt is off how do I replace it ?

If you can get the part from an electronics supply (we have a place here in my medium sized Canadian city). Once you obtain the part it just takes patience and a natural ability at puzzles to be able to replace it. Perhaps you should remove the old one first to be able to size it.

RCA Boom Box, Cassette Player works improperly

This sounds like a dirty or sticky pinch roller - use a commercial cassette head cleaner - or ear but with a alcohol cleaner -

If the capston is not rolling the cassette forward this my be due to a broken belt - or may have just jumped off - power down the product and disconnet from the mains - then open it up - normaly the front come away undo the mounting screws from around the cassette mechanism normaly around 4 and carefuly look at the back there should normaly be 2 rubber band one to the capston and 1 to the pich roller the belt that may be broken is the smaller of the too. most cassette deck use the same size belt
