How do I attach my i phone music to sony DAV SA 30?

There are iPhone cradles available that you set your Phone into, and I believe(don't hold be to it, as I haven't looked specifically for them) have RCA analog outputs, with charging available in the cradle. Have a look on Google. I'm sure you'll find hundreds of them. Those RCA cables, can plug into any high level(no phono inputs anymore) input, such as CD, DVD, TV, etc.

Have a Sony Compact AV System DAV-SA30 with no sound - everything else OK. Was turned off at mains whilst on Standby - could this have been the problem and what can be done to resolve it?

it sounds like a circuit or capacitor on the inside has blown normally a stand by light is the only form or error code the dvd players are capable of sending when something goes wrong internally

Buzzing noise from TV when playing DVD/Photos

Usually this noise is the result of a bad cable. Unplug to see if noise goes away. If so, try different cables.Has solved that problem for me several times over the years.

Loud buzzing noise

Mine is loud also when playing games. When playing DVD's it is not. I think it is a factory defect on some of the systems. I would not attempt to pull apart the DVD drive and try and fix it. It is working and on an XBOX 360 you should feel lucky that it is.

Buzing noise from power unit

What kind of system is it?
What "power thing" inside what?
It's a good chance its a ground loop issue.  Make sure the power cords aren't wrapped around each other or touching the speakers or running parallel with the speaker wires for more than a couple inches (interference transmitted into the speaker lines audible through speakers).

Sony DAV-SA30 Sounds works for CD's but not for DVD's

Thats a strange problem.maybe your DVD lens wants to be cleaned try doing that.or try another DVD. if that do not work, then i can say that your player is not compatible with the program that your disc is burned with.

No speakers?

if you are trying to get rid of all the speakers & just hooking up the sound to the tv speakers, what you need to look for on the back of the dvd system is you need to find an audio out. I know the is one or two audio input, but I do not think there are any audio outputs. I don'e think you can get sound out of this system without your speakers hooked up. sorry.
