If I click the ON/OFF button nothing happens. I have opened the TV. A visual inspection doesn't who anything broken or burnt. I have pictures. The TV is from October 2009.
I had the same problem with Samsung. A web search located the issue being the capacitor. Take out the back and look for the capacitor near where the power line enter the TV. It was a 100 uF at 4050 volts capacitor. checked the DC voltage to be 381 volts. Got two old capacitor from an old TV - one was 150 uF at 400 volts and one was 220 uf at 400 volts. It turned out that it needs two in parallel (making 370 uf at 400 volts. Took out the under rated 100 uf and replaced it with these two. Checked the voltage to be 390 volts. That did the job. Samsung must have tried to save money by putting in a 100 uf at 450 volts. .
Testimonial: "Thanks for the suggestion. After opening the TV I don't see any burnt or damaged capacitor. Any idea?"

There are three separate boards: input, power, and video. The power board has the 120 volts and very near the power line is the capacitor. (Some TVs have more than one capacitors.) It was not burned, just no creating high voltage. Measure the high voltage across the capacitors, should be close to 400 volts DC. If it is around 380, it is low. The problem was looking for another capacitor with a high working voltage and uf rating.

I have the same problem. The only way to get the TV to come on is to unplug it, but once you get it back on it turns itself off again in a few minutes.

WIth the set only 7 months old, it should still be under warranty. The problem now is that by opening it up, you effectively have voided the warranty. That being said, the problem is that a problem has been detected internally and the set shuts down to prevent further damage. The first suspect is the main power supply board. I would try for warranty service first. If that is not available a local service shop should be able to take some measurements inside to detemine whether the power supply is not working correctly or if the suply is being told to shutdown. WIth what little info is available here and not being able to examine the actual unit, remote diagnosis will be difficult.
Keep us posted.

You are missing 15volts. If this is a new TV, it could be as simple as a plug not fully seated on the power supply. Regardless, the repair should be covered by warranty and Panasonic is one of the best when it comes to taking care of the customer. Ifd nI can be of further assistance, let me know

Heat the bridge rectifier with a blow dryer and see it turn right on.

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
