I had the same problem with my 55in I simply placed a 4 inch fan in the back of the screen near The the power cord and let it blow through the vents to the other side. It works great now. Must be the heat causing the problem. Any way it works now. Sounds like an issue with the motherboard or a short in the screen circuits.
As it usually costs more to replace this than most sets are worth I suggest purchase a new one.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Otherwise, you would just enable Miracast on your phone and choose the TV as a device. They sell HMDI adapters that will accept Miracast signals and display them on the TV.
If you mean the brightness keeps altering check that it is not set to AUTO in the settings, this is the default setting to comply with the Energy standards. Switch it to OFF.
