this means it's getting time to change the water filter,,if u have already change the filter u can reset this by opening the refrigerator door and push and hold the light button for 10 seconds this will reset the filter light

It is very easy to reset your filter indicator light on your Maytag refrigerator. Simply press and hold the light and lock buttons, on the dispenser, for about three (3) seconds, until the change filter light blinks.

Ok, That sounds like a water filter change light. The model number you gave is for an oven and if possible could you give me the true model number for your Samsung refrigerator. That way I can tell you more about how to change the filter and reset the red light, Thanks Sea Breeze

Change your water filter, you should change your filter at least every year or it will start to grow bactria. If you still have the bypass (little plastic cap) you can us that in the mean time to get better water flow, it goes where the filter goes

I have replaced filter but how do you reset change filter light?
Have replaced the filter. The light is still red. Answer: After changing the water filter, press Cubed and Crushed buttons simultaneously and hold 3 seconds.

I would try changing filter and see if that fixes the light problem... How long has it been since it was changed?
