My thread keeps looping on bottom Have changed tension, needle rethreaded and changed bobbin nothing helps what am I doing wrong?

DO NOT RESET THE TIMING!! The timing is off on maybe 1 in 100 modern Husqvarna machines. For the user to change the timing is turning a simple fix into a complicated and expensive fix.
If the top thread is "looping up on the bottom" then you have a problem with the tension on the top thread. Here is what to check:
1. Thread the machine all the way through the eye of the needle. Don't go under the foot.
2. Pull the tread to the side. While pulling, lower the presser foot. You should see the needle bend as the thread gets tight. If not, you have no tension on the top thread.
3. With the bobbin in the case, hold the needle thread and turn the handwheel to bring the thread up. Watch through the cover to see if the thread passes over the bobbin from left to right. When it gets to the right side, the take up lever should pull the slack out and the thread should be pulled up. If it comes part way across but does not pull up, make sure the thread is in the take up lever. If you never see the thread, remove the bobbin case and turn the hand wheel. You should be able to see the hook pass behind the needle while the eye is still below the level of the hook. If the eye is above the hook as it passes the needle from right to left, then and only then consider timing the machine. If the hook passes above the eye but doesn't catch the thread (bobbin case out, needle plate on, presser foot down) you probably have a problem with your needle. Put in a new needle and make sure that the flat side is to the back.
99% of the time when a Husqvarna is not picking up the bobbin thread, something simple has been overlooked. Your symptom of looping on the back of the fabric indicate either a threading or tension issue in most cases, not timing.

Check the position of the needle. Some machines have to have the needle in a certain way or they won't pick up the thread from the bobbin. Make sure the screw on the bobbin is tight but not to tight you may have to adjust it a few times to get it where it needs to be. Also make sure the bobbin is wound tight

Rule of thumb.. Loops on the bottom, problem on the top. Loops on the top, problems on the bottom.

Set your upper tension at 4, and rethread the machine from the top. Just before you thread the needle, but the presser foot down. If the thread pulls right thru easily, then the thread is not thru the tension wheel right. Because, if you can't pull the thread thru with the presser foot down, you have it threaded right.

If the machine is now threaded, lift the presser foot.

Now, pull about 10" of thread through the needle.

The next time you thread the machine, lift the presser foot first.

When the presser foot is up, the tension control opens and allows the thread to "seat" into the control, then when the foot is down the control closes to the indicated setting.

When threading the machine with the foot is down, thread does not enter the tension control and when you start to sew, there is no tension on the thread.

No tension = loosey, goosey, loopy stitches underneath.

Because the lack of tension on the top thread, the bobbin thread cannot lock a proper stitch.

Refer to your machine for cleaning the bobbin area.

You will need to clean this area often as lint and thread snips can build up can cause the bobbin feed to malfunction.

If this continues after you have cleaned the machine, the timing may need to be adjusted by a sewing machine tech.
