I have a juki lu 562. Adjusting stitch length. For some reason it will not go to 9, 10, , 11 on scale. Will not go any farther than 8, then turning wheel opposite goes to 12.

Turn it to either extreme and then see if the feed dogs hit the plate when you hand turn the hand wheel towards you. Sometimes the feed dogs or plate have been replaced and they have set the stich length so that the feed dogs won't hit the ends of the plate.

SOURCE: I have a Juki LU-562 sewing machine I was sewing

Like most of the older sewing machines, the lu-562 is usually an easy fix when it comes to issues of timing and even broken parts. First determine where the spring came from and that should point you to the parts that need replacing and/or readjusting. But, by all means DO NOT continue operating the machine until its fixed. Without actually seeing the machine, it sounds as if the needle bar spring failed.

SOURCE: how to loch the stitch on Juki-562?

If there is no reverse on the machine, you can shorten the stitch at the beginning and end of the item. Or, you can sink the needle, pivot the item 180 degrees, sew a short distance, then pivot back 180 degrees and stitch over the first stitches. Other than that, tying the thread tails in a knot.

Sewing machines i cant get my juki lu 562 to make a single stitch nothing

Try installing a brand new needle. If it still will not pick up the bobbin thread, the machine may be knocked out of time. Take it for service.

Juki 8700- stitch length won't go below 2.5. Knob gets stuck. How to make stitch length lower?

SLIGHTLY unscrew the large screw in the center of the stitch length knob, turn the knob to the right several clicks and retighten the screw. DON'T take it completely out, or you will make more work for your self.

Juki LU-562 I heard a clunck and the bottom walking foot doesn't work right .

Hello, I have a different model Juki but it sounds to me that your safety clutch has been tripped. The safety clutch functions when an excessive load is applied to the hook or the other components during sewing. At this time, the hook will not rotate even if turning the handwheel. When the safety clutch has functioned, remove the cause and reset the safety clutch by pressing and holding the push button on the top surface of the machine bed, while strongly turning the handwheel in the reverse direction of rotation. The resetting procedure is completed when the handwheel clicks.
