Washing machine knocking on spin cycle

Move the empty drum by hands upp and down listen for noise, drumbaring my have been worne. Or is there some loose outside drum?

It seems you need to have a new sealing rubber fitted. IN THE MEANTIME, if the knocking happens again when the spin starts, stop the machine, let the washing drop to rest, and then start it again, the re-positioning of the fabric inside the drum should even out. Also, do not load with say.. only towels, that way the weight is one sided and will make the drum spin in an uneven way.

Hello,have to tell you that most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping noise during the spin, the load of cloth may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the cloths, then restart the machine. Repeat these steps if necessary.

check your motor coupling, it is between the motor and tranny

replace the balance springs from the bottom of the tub to the frame there weak and letting the tub rock

OTHER THEN CHECKING THE WATER PUMP I THINK YOUR RIGHT THE BEARING ARE GOING,IT WILL WORK FINE TILL THEY LOCKUP THEN THE BELT WILL BURN OFF,BUT I WOULD CHECK THE WATER PUMP ALOT OF TIMES IT JUST THAT,LET ME KNOW -MIKE
