Seriously though the battery has to be fully charged to obtain a signal also in the middle of the city it may not be able to see clearly the birds . Other electronic factors can screen out connection.

Is it reporting a valid antenna connection in the pic that shows the satellite connections beoing made?

Investigate internet checkin with your airline, then, if you only have a cabin bag you can print a boarding pass and go straight to the boarding gate.

If you have checked luggage you will have to allow time to queue up to the desk and have it weighed. At peak times this could easily take 2 hrs. Look for staff roaming up and down the queue asking what flight you are on. If time is short they may bring you to the front.
