I see where this question goes, as I wondered this the first time I obtained my Xbox 360. Once you purchase an Xbox 360 console for the first time, you will have the option to get a month of Xbox Live Gold Membership for free. All you simpily have to do is make an account, and set it up with Xbox Live. Once you are finished filling out account preferences, it will ask you if you want to buy gold. Say, "No". A screen will then pop up saying you are now eligible for a free one month of gold.

----- Though, I would like to note that through personal experiences, that you will only be able to do this, THREE times. The screen will not pop up if you have done it already three times. ------

Ok if you want to be a member and get a crazy daisy and **** like that look up 24hr membership free and tipe in TICKET, GOLD or TREAT and you will be a member for 1 day

SOURCE: how do I cancel Amazon Prime. I just hit the wrong button and now I'm a member with a $79 charge. I do not want this membership. I want it cancelled now. This just happened 10 minutes ago.

To end your Amazon Prime membership:

1. Manage Prime Membership .
2. Do one of the following:
   • To cancel a paid Amazon Prime membership, click End membership. Note: Paid members who haven't placed an Amazon Prime eligible order are eligible for a full refund. You can't receive a refund if any of the household members have placed an Amazon Prime eligible order.

Log in to you Amazon account. Click My Account at the top where you name is.
Then look for Manage My Prime in the third section of the page, and click cancel prime.

SOURCE: I received an email from Amazon saying I am an Amazon Prime member. I did not join. Please correct this

There are btwo main ways to become an Amazon Prime member. One is to join from the main Amazon.com site, and one is to accept a 30 day trial. They both cost the same which is an annual fee. There are a coiple of advantages to having a Prime membership. Free two day shpping on Prime items, and free Amazon Prime movies. You would need to enter a credit card number. Currently at an annual cost of $99.99. A post to the site should get you out of the membership if you do not want it.
