Have a 17hp kawasaki propane buffer wont crank and seems to get no power at all

Use your volt meter to test the battery voltage. It should be at least 12.4v . I this is good, follow the voltage through the ignition switch and the relay if it has one, on to the starter. If you have power on to the starter, but still no crank, the starter is bad.
Hope this helps, Robert

Hi Ace 2L diesel van. What is the valve clearance warm and cold?

Cold: Intake 0.30mm, Exhaust 0.50mm.
Hot: Intake 0.20mm, Exhaust 0.040mm.

The 2L Toyota engine runs an overhead cam with bucket lifters, and requires removing and replacing of shims to adjust clearances...

Is there a power band in a o5 zx12r cause when i dump the throttle i get a 1 second hesitation then the bike takes off

power curve- power ban only 2 stroke and i find its the overhead cams delayed power supply try ride a kwaka 250 zzr and the overhead cam delay is huge is it similar? The only downside to overhead cams is this yet once they kick in anything without o/h cams will be left behind

Replaced head gasget and since that the tappets have being noisy set them to what it said could you help thanks

http://www.izook.com/shoptips/valves/valves.htm

Here is the procedure.
They give hot and cold specs.
The hot specs are much larger, and you might have set them when too cold to use the hot specs.

Or you many not have set the crankshaft to TDC and done the right set of valves.
But being overhead cam, you should have easily recognized whether or not the cam was free from pressing on the tappet.

I also do not recommend light oil like 5w-20. I prefer 10w-40 or 20w-50 unless you live in a very cold climate.
