Hello Antoinette Badra,
Hobart is one of those FEW names that seems
to have survived with a STERLING REPUTATION...
intact (uncommon... ).
Unlike KitchenAid, KENMORE & Maytag
(opinion: personal experience).
((If you are thinking about a WINE COOLER
and you DRINK anything bigger FORMAT
than "TWO BUCK CHUCK" ... bring a bottle
to VERIFY you cannot fit it into KitchenAid
(KUWL304ESS, KUWR304ESS = pathetic))).
Used to have a HOBART dealer right here on
TELEGRAPH Avenue in OAKLAND 9, Calif....
(Oakland used to have PRIDE TOO)... Where
I was delighted to find ... not only competence,
parts & integrity... but PRIDE and they did not
mind some curious child (me) who was interested in
repairing THEIR (commercial grade) equipment.
So it was with a bit of JOY that I undertook your
question to find where my OLD FRIEND had gone...
After EXTENSIVE reading...
I find that HOBART is not just ENERGY STAR®
compliant... They are a "PARTNER" and a 2015
AWARD WINNER...
So... without the benefit of a MODEL NUMBER
9usually required to speak intelligently)...
I will have to guess: ENERGY STAR® = "es"
Hope I am helping

I'm just saying...
Every once in a while some designs make it past the ACTUARIES... (hidden quality wins over fast & cheap).

SOURCE: hobart lx 18 warewasher what hatco booster heater product compatable with it
The answer to this question will be based on the incoming water temperature that is supplied to the booster heater. The standard sizing for a booster heater is based off of a 40 degree F rise (140 degree F incoming water temperature) or a 70 degree F rise (110 degree F incoming water temperature). For a 40 degree F rise, a Hatco model C-5, S-5, or PMG-60 will supply the needed amount of rinse water for the LX-18 Hobart dishwasher. A 70 degree F rise would require a Hatco model C-9, S-9, or PMG-60 to supply the same Hobart model number.
