My Roxio Creator 2010 tells me to lower the screen resolution. I don't want to, it throws everything out of wack. I've made plenty of movies on it and now it's all this?

SOURCE: I have roxio creator & my dvd 9.0 de ; how do i burn my movies

I am trying to burn a movie onto a dvd using Roxio easy cd & dvd burning. The problem is that when I do burn it, it burns as a data disc. I try other things on it and it says to use the disc copier application to burn a dvd. I have searched everywhere on this progmram and there is nothing that says disc copier.
