I think you can get all of the parts for that to replace it instead of sharpening it.

SOURCE: Hobart AM 14 model pressure rise

Are you refering to the water pressure gauge near the top of the unit?

If so, during the final rinse/sanitize cycle the gauge should read between 15 and 25 psi.( flow pressure ) and is usually controlled by a water pressure regulator piped into your plumbing near the machine. Once the cycle has finished, it's normal to see the gauge register much higher pressure readings ( static pressure ) This is the water pressure being supplied to your building. Pressures of 60psi+ are not uncommon. What, I think, you're describing is normal.

All the best.

I have a am-14 hobart washer. having problem with rinse temp indicator. it is fine for the wash then the temp gauge is jumping around, could it be the thermostat?

Your rinse temperature sensor that is a tiny probe in the water piping (top rear of machine) needs replaced. Hobart part # 00-294692. It costs about $84.

Hobart am14 water runs through it all the time

If water is running even with the machine turned off then your solenoid valve needs to be cleaned out or rebuilt. This valve is in the back top of the machine by the gauge.

Need motor & impellor for Hobart AM8

I havn't seen an AM8 in over 15 years.
Hobart will keep parts available for quite a few years past end of production, but this may be too long. The AM 10 and early 12's are compatable.
You need a 6 bolt pump to motor. Yours has the old cast iron wash arms. All the new have light stainless arms. Just checked my records. the new AM12 which superceeded your design was in 1981. Perhaps look around for a used AM14 which fits your tables and plumbing. Confirm the voltage is compatable.
The AM15 is the current spec and is far superior.
