Is it not doing it twice, or are you hoping for two different solutions so you can pick and choose ? Either way, it needs professional attention - take or send it to a service centre.

SOURCE: my jvc everio camcorder wont

Hi,
Remove the batteries wait a few minutes. Put fresh batteries back in and turn the camcorder on. This resets the camcorder.
Take the memory card out and copy the files from the memory card to computer.

Recover can be done through the software mentioned below:

Hope this helps.

Take out the battery and clean the gold connectors. I had the same problem for months and finally I tried this and it worked perfectly afterward.

SOURCE: My JVC Everio GZ-MG130 does

Two possibilities for said symptoms, either DC jack got broken and does not provide volts to camcorder coming from adapter (11V) or any chip fuse is blown at main board for some reason inside camera.
Local camera repair shop will help you to get camera fixed because camera will take apart that needs expertise.
If you want to attempt by yourself, get service manual copy from internet to have proper disassemble procedure to avoid any damage.
Hope these info will help you.
Thanks.

SOURCE: Can I use a usb cable to charge my jvc everio

As long as you have a USB port and there is 4 AA or AAA batteries then you should be able to. USB is 5 volts DC and 4 batteries are 1.2 volts each and 4 equal 4.8 volts DC.

Is there another way to charge the camera so that I can turn it on and retrieve what is on it?

You will need either the camera power supply or a charged battery, if don't have a power supply for camera or a charged battery there is no way around it.

I cannot seem to charge my JVC Everio camcorder. When I use the USB and hook it to my computer, the light flashes as if its charging, but the camera won't turn on. Any ideas?

Measure the voltage on the battery. If you don't have a volt-meter have a guy in Radio Shack do it. Probably have a dead cell that is drawing down the charging voltage. Try taking the battery out and use the camcorder with the AC connected.

Jvc everio G power cord is broke

As a camcorder technician, I would not recomend to be too creative on charging the battery. The battery plays very important role in today's camcorder design. You need to use correct charging procedure or similiar 3rd party method. I would get one cheap at EBAY. I see over 200 listing under accessories for this camcorder. Good luck.

JVC Everio GZ-MG130 Won't Come On

Check the lens cap.

Check if it is in the proper mode. Some JVC have an eyepiece that when pulled out allows you to view through the eyepiece but not on the screen.

Try downloading the contents of the hard drive to your computer.

Here are links that can give you details on how to check these things.
