You have been screwed big-time. If you buy the juicers anywhere but online, they will not let you know they don't include the crecent tool needed to remove the blade to clean. What a f**king ripoff.
Make sure the Juicer is unpluged. What you need is the cresent tool or two metal objects to place in the two holes opposite each other and press down the metal objects in the holes while turning counter clockwise. It kind of acts like a lock and key system.
I have a jack lalane juicer that has the screw-peg broken and the only solution is to buy the whole motor as this part is molded to it, so I'm going to ditch it as it's not worth it. I can post the orange 'crescent tool/key' to you if you still need one. Cheers, Barbara
