Airconditioner only blowing hot air

There can be several situations going on from the capacitor powering the compressor giong bad or even the unit being low on charge and going off on high temp first thing i would do is check the air filter and then see if there are any batteries inside your thermostat and replace them if those are both ok i would recommend calling a contractor that specializes in your brand of airconditioner

Hi! Airconditioner failure has lots of causes. It may have a freon leak, faulty expansion valve, dirty drier and evaporator. Have this checked and fix and will surely resolve the problem. Hope this helps and have a good one!

You need to check the heater core it has two hoses going to it feel of them if one is hot and the other cold heater core is stopped up replace it or flush it out if they are both hot it can be the switch or a vacuum line the vacuum line will be on the passenger side under the hood where the airconditioner hoses go in the body

I have a 3 ton a/c system that removes about 5-6 gallons of water from the air per day. Most portable dehumidifiers/air-conditioners rate at approx 1/2 to 3/4 of a ton. Your water output is pretty much normal.
