Printer in ready state. But when I create the print file, the machine prints. waved in the printer ready state.

The hagtag file is still in printing state but the zebra s4M doesn't print...Please help me solve problem??????

1. Clean the print head with cleaning pen.
2. Adjust print speed/darkness in software.
3. Check the media and verify that print surface is facing up.
4. Check that correct thermal media is in use.

Sounds like you will need to perform the calibration procedure.
when you access the menu system go to advanced menu, the password is 9999, use the keys to navigate to manual calibration and follow the instructions. when it states load backing this is refering to backing paper, so remove the labels from the backing and place in label path. hope this helps

SOURCE: Zebra LP2844 printer prints garbage

Sounds like you might be using a bad driver, or the printer is in dump mode.
Try hitting the green button and see if it says exiting dump.
If still having trouble, inside the printer it tells you that if you are having printing trouble:

  1. turn off the printer
  2. Hold down the feed button
  3. turn on the printer and at the third red flash release the feed button
  4. it will then feed some pagessome info and ask you to hit feed again to exit dump
  5. hit feed again and it will say exiting dump
This process re-reads the label length (so only do it with the labels you want to use in, or it will waste labels until you do it again with those in it) - but I'm suggesting it only because it enters and exits dump mode (which I have read can cause the garbage when you try to print).

zebra s4m barcode printer ,suppose if i print 10 Labels only 2 Label come out balance 8 in memory .then printer comes pause, disply showing paper out /ribbon in/please help me....

49.4c02 error

49.4c.02 error is a firmware error.
Very rarely is a "49" error cause by hardware.
First remove the network or printer cable and reboot. If the printer comes ready the problem is with a print job waiting to be printed. Most likely a PDF file that the printer doesn't understand how to print.
On a windows machine Start, Devices and printers, locate your printer and double click then click on "What's printing" and delete any files waiting to be printer. ( You'll probably see one on the list with the word "error" on the line

The red triangle light with the "!" in it keeps flashing. I've just printed some things off but now it's not printing. Need it to print obviously..

ATTENTION light(triangle): Indicates that the print-cartridge door is open, print cartridge is missing, and other errors.

If ATTENTION and READY light is blinking:

Printer initialization
The printer is initializing.
No action is necessary.

Cleaning mode
A cleaning page is printing.
Wait until the cleaning page has finished and the printer is in the Ready state.
This could take up to two minutes.

If ATTENTION and READY light is on:

Fatal error
Turn off the printer, and then unplug the printer power cord for 30 minutes.
Plug the printer power cord into the power outlet, and then turn the printer on.
If the error persists, replace the printer.

If ATTENTION light is blinking and READY light is off:

  1. Attention: door open, no print cartridge, or media jam
The printer is in an error state that requires operator intervention.
Check the following:
? The print cartridge door must be completely closed.
? The print cartridge is correctly installed.
? There is no media jam.

2. Out of memoryThe printer is out of memory.
The page you are printing might be too complex for the printer's memory capacity.
Try lowering the resolution.

I have a lexmark x2350 (all-in-one,2300 Series).In the troubleshoot ,said printer status ready.But when i try print,or take a print page text,i hear:printing started,printing complete,but the machine don`t...

Try to update your printer driver. Please visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/qQJd8g. Select your operating system to download the file.
If that doesn't help, follow the steps below: 1. Disconnect the printer from your computer. 2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. Delete the Lexmark X2350 print object. 3. Reboot your pc. 4. Once the pc completely boots up, reconnect the printer into the pc. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. 5. To ensure the print object has been successfully created automatically. Go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. You should see a new Lexmark X2350 print object in the list. 6. Try to print again.

PRINTER SAYS IT READY BUT IN QUECE WHATEVER THAT HOW TO FIX THIS IT WANT PRINT

Make sure the Print Spooler service on your computer is enabled. To fix this, please follow the steps below: (applicable on Windows)
  1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in "NET STOP SPOOLER" (this will stop the print spooler service)
  2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
  3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in "NET START SPOOLER" (this will restart the print spooler service)
  4. Double click the printer icon in the lower-right corner of your taskbar to examine your print job queue and browse to View -> Refresh.
Try to print again.

900 service RIP software error - how do you fix it?

Please try to do the following steps. Remove parallel, USB, and/or network connections andrecycle the printer's power so that it is operating as a standalone machine. If it powers up to the Ready state, print the MenuSettings page(s) from the Utilities Menu. If the printer works without error while disconnectedeither from the network or a locally attached computer, there is a strong possibilitythat a corrupted file or network/parallel/USB connection is causing theerror. Look for patterns such as aparticular file or a particular workstation generating the error when data issent to the printer. My Xerox Phaser 8860 keeps waking and running during standby, is this normal?

The machine will try to keep its temperature at a constant level so this is normal. Also, if you have intelligent ready enabled, the machine will wake up at certain times when it thinks you are going to print. i.e. If you always use the printer at say 3pm to print out the days post, the machine remembers this and will wake at about 2.55pm and warm itself to a ready to print state.

How to solve 'error S01'?

1. Verify USB cable is connected directly from USB port of printer and the USB port on back of computer. If not, connect directly to both the printer and computer and try to print. If the printer does not print, go to step 3.
2. VERIFY THAT THE BROTHER PRINTER IS SET AS DEFAULT
This is especially important if you use the print icon to print from within applications. If the Brother printer is set as the default printer, it will have a check mark. If it is not set as default:
To set your Brother machine as the default printer, RIGHT CLICK on the Brother printer and select SET AS DEFAULT (PRINTER).
3. VERIFY THAT THE PRINTER STATUS IS READY AND THE PRINT QUEUE IS EMPTY
A. Click on START, RUN
B. Type: CONTROL PRINTERS and click OK.
C. Locate the Brother printer in the list and hover your mouse over the Brother printer icon. Below is an example of what you may see:
Status: Ready (Could also state: USE PRINTER OFFLINE or PAUSED)
Documents: 0 (Could be any number)
D. If there are any documents waiting in the queue, right-click on the Brother printer and select CANCEL ALL DOCUMENTS, depending on your operating system. This should clear the queue.
E. If the status states: USE PRINTER OFFLINE, right-click on the Brother printer and select USE PRINTER ONLINE depending on your operating system. This should set the printer driver ONLINE.
F. If the status states: PAUSED, right-click on the Brother printer and uncheck PAUSE PRINTING. This should allow the printer to resume printing.
G. If the status is ready and no documents are in the queue, attempt to print the Windows test page. If not successful, verify the selected port. If USB is the selected port follow step 4. If USB is not selected,change the port to USB, then attempt to print the Windows test page. If not successful proceed to step 4.
4. Turn the printer OFF.
5. Close any open programs.
6. Click Start, Run, type: control printers
7. Right click Printer, left click Cancel All Documents (if available). Confirm if necessary (click OK).
8. Right click Printer, left click Delete. Confirm if necessary (click OK).
9. Left click File menu, left click Server Properties, left click Driver tab, left click print model name, left click Remove button, click Confirm.
10. Close the Print Server Properties window to return Printers and Faxes window.
11. Check that the USB cable is properly connected at both ends.
12. Turn the printer ON.
13. Wait until printer has ready light or green status, watch the Printers and Faxes window to see if printer is automatically reinstalled.
14.a. If printer was automatically reinstalled, right click Printer icon, left click Properties, left click Print Test Page button. If the printer is not automatically reinstalled, call Brother Customer Service at 1-877-Brother (1-877-276-8437).
b. If printer was not automatically reinstalled, try a new USB cable. Ifthe printer still is unable to print, call Brother Customer Service at1-877-Brother (1-877-276-8437).

Printer will not print from file

The spooled files are not getting to the printer, do the following in sequence:

Start checking usb cable, test it by using a different one.

Check that no device close to usb can create an electromagnetic disturbance, a power adapter can do this.

Disconnect printer from power, Computer from power (unplug cables form power outlet) and printer from computer for 10 minutes (this will reset printer and get rid of electrostatic charges on PC usb).
Connect everything back and try.

If none of the above worked disconnect printer from usb,
remove printer from 'installed printers' in Windows (or whatever OS you are using)
Reinstall driver from printer disk (printer must remain unplugged).
Plug back printer only when required from printer software or after driver setup.

If it still does not work it may be a problem with heads, Alps are quite peculiar printers, in this case you will need to find a servicemen in your area.

Have you tried downloading a different driver?

Lexmark E238 Laser Printer

Here are the steps to reset the page count on a Lexmark E234, as described here:
  1. Power the printer on and get it to the Ready state.
  2. With the printer on and in the Ready state, open the front cover.
  3. Press and hold the Cancel button until all of the lights begin flashing up and down.
  4. Release the Cancel button and close the door. The photoconductor count should now be reset.
