SOURCE: whont work, please register in displayed on screen

To solve the register problem.... Put each phone for 20 seconds or so in the main base. I had the same issue, and resolved it this way.

SOURCE: Cordless phone 25881

Sounds like a power problem.
This model of phone will work as a regular corded phone when no ac power is available.
IE the cordless function is only available when you have electricity.
- is the ac adapter plugged into a working outlet.
- is the ac adapter working.
- is the ac adapter pluged into the base.

hope this helps

SOURCE: out of range shows on main handset of cordless phone

Unplug the battery. Hold down The * (star) and the #(hash) keys simultaneously. Re-connect the battery, phone will beep and screen will be blank. Press the voicemail (righthand silver key under the lcd screen). As above EEPROM/RAM message will appear. Place handset on base and your problem is solved.

What is eco?

Well, simply put, the power consumption and transmission power (when the phone is near the base unit) on the phone are reduced. Naturally this means that less energy is used, which can only be a good thing. - See more at: http://www.cordless-phones.uk.com/blog/ligo/info/eco-dect.htm#sthash.BVRdaqTE.dpuf

How do i turn off eco mode in panasonic cordless

You cannot turn off the ECO mode manually.

Intelligent ECO mode (select models)
Power consumption is automatically reduced when the handset is close to the base unit for extended talk time. Battery life on Talk is up to 13 hours when in ECO mode.

At&T CL81209 cordless phone. Line In Use light continues to flash. both phones are registered and no phone is in use.

tried the battery unplug thing and it didnt work. read elsewhere on the web that if you have directv then unplug the phone line for it and your cordless phones should work. Tried that and sure enough it did. I dont use directv phone line for anything (i order payperview online for example) but still begs the question how u harmonize using phoneline for directv AND have these cordless phones. They worked fine together for 10 months until last nite.....there was a thunderstorm though. Maybe restarting directv would cure that.

I have a Tesco Cordless DECT phone model ARC201. Both handsets have come up with range out. I have switched off the phones, unplugged from wall etc. and then reconnected - and they remain the same. I've...

Maybe a little bit late, this is the solution for registering the handsets: hold the button on the base until it starts beeping, then, on the handset, go to the Register menu, select base number - in my case it's 2, then it will ask the PIN - the default is 0000, and that's it.

My phone lines keep on crossing!

If you are in a private residence go to the demarcation box and unplug the phone jack that connects the line to your home. Plug your phone directly into the jack which is now looking at the line and has eliminated your house wiring from the circuit. Make an outgoing call and have someone call you back. If the trouble persists, the trouble has just been proven to be on the line which is a phone company problem. Busy signals occure when a short is detected on the line so you may have cable trouble in your area. Thank You. Jerry
