I purchased journey of hope A hidden object game. Why is the game so slow. The cursor waves all over the page and when I find an object to takes forever for the item to disappear off the page.

Who knows! Ask the person or website which gave you those unfunctional hints for some game you really are not specifying correctly. I don't know and game called
"Hidden Object Game Painted" . Even if we try to help other members, Fixya is not the most appropiate site for game hints. Look for a gamer's forum.

If you purchased the game legally, the game should have came with an activation code. If not, contact the seller you purchased the game from to request a code or an exchange/refund.

If you downloaded the game illegally, then I am unable to assist you, but Google may be your friend.

It's possible your video card is getting overheated. Laptops often use APUs (video card and CPU/processor combined) in a very small frame and they get dirty (or sometimes even damaged) over time.

I would need to know more about your system to understand what's wrong, but my best guess is that your computer has a lot of dust in it or is just outdated. The more programs you download into it, the slower it can become. The more dust that accrues, the more crashing that occurs when you run any intensive program, even a simple hidden object game.

A simple and safe solution is to buy a can of compressed air (specifically for electronics, make sure it says it's safe for them) and just spray in short, quick bursts into the vents of your laptop.

If you have a tower (a big PC box that connects to a monitor or TV), you can usually quite easily unscrew the side of the case (tower) and use the compressed air to blow dust off of the components. So long as you don't touch anything inside, you shouldn't damage it, but if you desperately feel the need to put your fingers in there, make sure your computer is unplugged and that you've grounded yourself by touching a metal object, such as your case if it's not plastic. Static electricity can, although rarely, damage the components inside.

Alternatively just buy a new computer. Sometimes a PC has just run its course and the parts inside aren't worth salvaging for the average consumer. You could probably get a few bucks for it online to put towards a new computer.

That also brings up the issue of clearing your computer, though, so don't just sell it without finding out how to do that. A factory reset would do it, but you usually have to reinstall the OS.

Do you have the Kinect hardware that you need to play kinect games. It looks like this..

If you have bought your Xbox 360 before kinect came out you will have to buy this hardware. If you do have this and you have the older XBOX did you connect the power adapter to the kinect that is provided in the box as only the newer XBOX S does not need a power adapter for it. If all is present then look at the bottom right corner for a video display which will show you what the kinect is looking at. If present then wave your hand and a hand icon will be presented on screen at the bottom, complete the wave and you will get a hand cursor. You can then use the cursor to select kinect hub and then select play game from it. Hope the kinect hardware is placed at an appropriate height to allow for it to see properly and has enough swivel space too as the camera automatically tilts up and down to keep the player in the center.

I had the same problem this week and after downloading and reading the operation guide, I found the "adjusting the home positions" procedure in page 2, I followed the instructions and now my Casio 4303 is up and running, I got the operation guide from: http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw4303.pdf (thanks to jeffw284 for the information).

hi. most stores now will not take back cd's once opened. some how you are supposed to know its bad before you open it? anyway, on the back of the case or box you should find a contact web site or address or phone # (usually web) contact them and let them know about it and they will probably take care of it. they are usually pretty good about these things as unhappy customers means lower sales. hope this helps you.
