I have the same problem with my diswhwasher, but there was no power surge that caused it, it just started blinking.

Of course, there is no informaiton in the manual to troubleshoot this problem.

Hitting the buttons did not help my problem.

Have the same problem. Clean LED light flashes in sequences of 7 time. Can't start the washer. I tried the test cycle by pressing in sequence the Hi Temp, Air Dry, Hi Temp, Air Dry. After all the lights go on, nothing else happens. When is the test cycle over? I left it like that for 30 minutes and nothing changed. I finaly stopped it by pressing the Cancel key. I did that few times and still the clean LED flashes 7 times. I read the maintenance brochure behind the lower panel and it was little help. Any suggestion? Thank you

I had the same problem with the flashing light I did run the diagnostice toggle and that allowed the dishwasher to run however it ran the rinse cycle repeatedly never really completing the cycle. 5 hours of running and it never stopped. Service tech came out check the thermistor and found no heat getting to the unit. Decided it was the controller board. This machine was brand new less than 10 washes on it. The board has been replaced and it now runs to spec.

My dishwasher has flashing red dishwasher showing the door opening and closing and won't allow me to start it?

Other blinking lights or beeping sounds may indicate a problem with the dishwasher caused by power surges. Try pressing the "Start/Reset" pad to reset the dishwasher and wait 2 minutes. If the problem persists, reset (reboot) the dishwasher by turning off power to the unit at the house circuit breaker/fuse box for 30 seconds. Restore power and the dishwasher should function normally.

65 inch mitsubishi model# 65736 green light blinking

If the TV does not stay on, press the POWER button on the control panel for at least eight seconds to perform System Reset. The TV will turn off. Power on the TV and the green LED will flash quickly for about one minute. The changes you made most recently, before using SYSTEM RESET, may be lost. If this happens frequently, obtain an AC line power conditioner/surge protector.

An unusual digital signal may have been received, triggering a protection circuit. Wait for the light to stop flashing and turn TV on.

Momentary power fluctuation caused the TV to turn off to prevent damage. Wait for the green light to stop flashing and turn the TV on again

Mod.Hp980PT, red and top green light flash, no heat

This is a very common feature on these types of simple, high-volume, low-cost home appliances known as a safety fault. This fault will temporarily (or permanently) disable the appliance and happens for several reasons: (1) an over-temp (high heat) occurrence, (2) an over-power (power surge) occurrence, (3) an under-power (power outage or trickle power) occurrence, (4) an over-time occurrence (auto-off fails), (5) a short-circuit occurrence (exposed/crossed/frayed wires, etc.). Fortunately, it uses a digital "fuse" system and can be reset by the user. However, there is no universal reset process on SoftHeat products so you just have to play with it until you figure it out (customer service dept is no help). Mine is a Kaz SoftHeat HP980PT, with a red power indicator/power-off button and 4 green heat setting buttons. Mine faulted after a heavy storm caused multiple power outages and power surges in my neighborhood. The green light on the highest heat setting button was flashing on mine. Here's how I fixed it: (1) unplugged both ends of power cord and straightened out the cord, then plugged back in to the heating pad end. (2) While holding down the flashing light button, I plugged back in to the wall outlet. (3) While still holding down the flashing light button, pressed and held down the red power-off button, then while still holding down the red power button, I released the flashing light button, followed by releasing the power-off button. This stopped the flashing green light and caused the red power indicator light to stay on (steady-on). It works fine now. Note: Some models have an actual hard fuse in addition to the digital fault feature or possibly only a simple fuse (without the digital fault system). These fuses can the found at many retail stores and then very easily replaced. I hope this helps some of you!!!

Good Afternoon Sandra, thank you for your question!

Let's try resetting the dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn dishwasher back on. Confirm that the door is properly latched and try selecting a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could potentially mean a number of things: a potential wiring failure, damaged cord, faulty door latch assembly or control board. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the appliance.

My kenmore dishwasher 665.17052400 clean light is flashing 7 times. I cannot locate the tech sheet to find out what is wrong. I have reset the panel and it will run then blink again after 15 mins or so. ...

Reset the Control Panel
A power surge or outage may cause the "Clean" light to flash continuously after power is restored. Pressing the buttons on the panel in order and within 5 seconds resets the control panel and turns off the flashing light. The buttons must be pressed in the following order: "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash." After pressing the buttons, your Kenmore dishwasher will begin a short, 12 minute test cycle and reset the control panel.

Door Switch
A broken door switch can keep a Kenmore dishwasher from operating correctly, resulting in a flashing "Clean" light. Testing the door switch requires removing the door panel to access the control panel holding the switch in place. A continuity tester can determine if the switch has failed once you remove it from the door. Replace the switch if it fails to pass the continuity test. Make sure to disconnect the electricity to the dishwasher before accessing the switch.
I hope this helps.

GE gld5708vbb flashing lights locked controls

It is possible that since the neutral was bad it could have made a surge on the power and caused the processor controller to fail. It is also important that this must be confirmed to be corrected by checking with a larger load like a heater being switched on and not causing any voltage drop. If so the line is clear. Also make sure that the ground - Earth- is also intact.
The program has reset because of an error and it must be confirmed to be within or outside the washer. So remove plug and test this terminal with a large load test to confirm that the outlet is OK.
If so check the panel connections or is best to refer back to the dealer as the replaced panel will have a warranty.
Please take second opinion before the board is removed.
