Kango 950k can you help with my problem please, It work well with the drilling only less power with the hammering. I don't want to put it apart and break it.

kango 950 was the hammer drill version. Usually when they stopped hammering they were due for a rebuild. These units have a aluminum piston that rides in a steel tube striker. When the 2 rubber piston rings wear out you will get the described problem. The Kango's use a special tan grease so you cannot just yank it apart and replace the 2 rings with o-rings and grease. If these are the original Kango kangos then you are out of luck. They have been obsolete for many years now and no parts have been manufactured for a long time. The name was bought by DeWalt and they didn't do much with it. The Kango name is now ownd and used by Milwaukee, but there machines do differ alot from the originals. There were a few main models and the main mid sized breakers were the 900 (hammer only) and 950 (rotary hammer) There were a few facelift/variations of each (K, X and B I think) and they did use a couple of different sized seals/pistons/cylinders.

Hammering problems are usually caused by worn o-rings and there are a number of them. If you're not familiar with hammer's insides, you probably want to take it to a service center and have them put a service kit in. Or you can buy it too. And the service kit will come with a diagram. (Or ask them to print one out.)

If you do it yourself, remember, don't use too much grease.

The 900 is a hammer only, the 950 is a hammer drill. the newer ones 950s used spline bits. Unfortunately new parts are no longer available for these great machines. What is your problem.

Milwaukee now owns Kango, unfortunately I believe the 950sv is the old style. Parts are no longer avail. I have about 20 of the breakers. It is really too bad, they were great machines.
