Silly as the answer may be ddknox but the only way for you to delete it is to stop using it. The only way for an account to be deleted on Hotmail is that the user is supposed to be logged in. But your case here is different.

There is still one thing you can do other than the alternative email route when requesting for the new password.

Reset your password by entering your secret answer

  1. On any Windows Live ID site or service sign-in page, click Forgot your password?.
  2. Verify your Windows Live ID(The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to WindowsLive programs and services such as Windows Live Hotmail and WindowsLive Messenger; Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, MSN, and OfficeLive; and anywhere else that you see the Windows Live ID logo.) , type the characters you see in the Picture box, and then click Continue.
  3. Click Use my location information and secret answer to verify my identity.
  4. In the Country/Region list, select your country or region, select your state, and then type your ZIP code ( The postal code system that is used in the United States. The ZIPcode consists of a series of digits that are added to a postal address. The ZIP code is used to identify each postal delivery area for thepurpose of sorting mail.) or postal code ( A series of letters and/or digits that are added to a postal addressand used by the postal service for the purpose of sorting mail.) if you’re prompted to do so. Ifyou've moved since signing up for your Windows Live ID, use thelocation information you last provided. If you've provided both a homeand work location, enter your home location.
  5. In the Question area in the Secret Answer box, type your answer to the question.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter and confirm a new password, and then click Continue.
  8. If prompted, enter an alternate e-mail address (An alternate e-mail address is a secondary e-mail address registeredwith your Windows Live ID. If you forget your password, you can havethe password reset information sent to your alternate e-mail address.) and click Continue, or click Skip to bypass this step.
  9. On the You've changed your password page, click Sign in to Windows Live.

SOURCE: Facebook wont respond to my request for help...been a week

report_abuse.gifI HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION!!! (Please pass this on) I was unable to log into my FB account for @ 6 months. My password was changed and when I clicked on the link to fix it I would never receive the email to reset the password... countless emails to facebook Support, with no reply.. I found out that Facebook is a member of TRUSTe Simply go to their website and fill out a claim against facebook, (read the faq at TRUSTe first) You have to clearly state in your complaint why FB is violating your online privacy. TRUSTe will give FB 10 days to reply and fix your problem. (I had an ACTUAL person from FB contact me and fix my problem within 7 days!!!!! A MIRACLE!! LOL PLEASE PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ON!! I know there are 100's of us out here in the same boat, It is frustrating and heartbreaking to lose all access to your friends and private info!

Trying to get my facebook friends and page back help.

I disabled my Facebook account for a few years. Logging on with the same credentials (email address and password) you had before should automatically reactivate the same account.

If you know the email address but forgot your password, you might still be able to use the password recovery options (I think the link says "forgot my password" or something similar). I haven't tried it to confirm. It should ask for the phone number or email associated with the account. Hopefully you have some of that info.

If neither of those options work, you will likely need to email [email protected]. send a polite email with as much information as possible with your request.

If you didn't disable your account and Facebook did, you will probably need to email [email protected] instead.

I hope this helps.

Bt password

I hope you are on the proper website and haven't followed some other link, because what you have described is typical of a phishing attack. Is there a padlock at top and is it https?
Get onto another computer in case yours is compromised, type into the browser bar directly the address of your mail provider, make sure there's a padlock and enter your details. If you do get access change your password immediately.
if none of this is correct you'll need to go through the I can't log in process with your mail provider

Need to change email password

To change an email password you have to log in on the email account ..on the web page of the domain ...first .for exmple ..if it is an msn or hotmail email ..go to msn .com ...and log in ...or to the page of your domain ..
after that ..just look for the my account and under the privacy options ...select mail ...In there you have something called mail options ..or hotmail options or etc..depending on the domain ..and inside this feature you can change the password..
for others is simmilar...the idea is to looc for the account info ..or the options ...
for yahoo is enough to log in the mail ..and click the account info ..under your name scroller or on the upper page ..and it will guide you exactly to the account info page where you can change the password..probably will asc to log in again before doint it as a safety option ..
for others is similar ..the place you need to go is to log on the web page for the domain ...and look for the account info ..or acount options ..

Can log in my email address quite alright on facebook but when i enter the password it tells me the password is wrong.

It sounds like your password has been changed somehow. Check your junk mail in the email address you use to log into facebook for any emails stating that your password has been changed. It is possible that someone else may have changed it or it is not the password you thought. You should have the option to reset your password. That is also an option too.

And - make sure CAPS lock is not on is your password is case sensitive. Thanks!

Someone has hack my computer

So you notice someone has been doing things in your mailbox! and you are still able to log in to your mail! Its your lucky day!
Because the attacker knows your password and can log in to your account with full privilegies anytime, being in position to change your mailbox account password making you locked out from your own mailbox with the result ACCESS DENIED!!!
You have a TROJAN HORSE installed in your computer that sends everything you write on your computer directly to the attacker.

SOLUTION: Download antivirus, run scan and as soon you are virusfree log in to your mailaccount and change your password.
Now you have locked the attacker out off your account.
Do this as soon as possible,
because the attacker might also se your attempt to clean your computer. If the attacker is faster than you he might change your mail ACCOUNT AND LOCK YOU OUT FOR EVER.....

Be fast, and good luck! if this was useful,Please vote!
