Frigidaire plgf389ccb bread light stays on.

Switch is blocked to ON position. Try to find to wiggle the lever, push it in, pull it back...if you can open the system and access the mechanism use a bit of cooking oil to grease the mechanism.

Door wont unlock

I did that once and had luck unplugging and used a ice cold cloth to cool down the lock handle until it unlocked. Just try not to cook a turkey in the cleaning mode without the fire departments phone number handy.

While cooking a turkey the oven reached the heat setting and the turkey was placed in to cook two hours. After two hours when the turkey was removed the heat was off and the turkey had not cooked. ...

next time send the model number so i csn look up your machine, open the bottom draw and on the frame you'll see a tag with the model and serial numbers, all i would need is the model, anyway you must have a computer board in the clock assy. and sometimes just like your house computer has to be restarted because for some reason the computer froze and shutting down the power will reset it,if this keeps happening you'll have to change out the clock assy.but i've seen this happen, the first thing i do when i go in on a job and the machine has a computer board in it is to unplug it for 5 minutes to see if it resets and usually it doesn't happen again unless the power went out or something like that, keep an eye on it you should be fine but if it happens again soon for no reason like i say you might have to change out the clock assy.good luck any more problems i'd be happy to help.

How do I set the oven to self clean

The oven door must be closed and all controls set correctly for the cycle to work properly. After a Clean Cycle You may notice some white ash in the oven. Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the oven cools. If white spots remain, remove them with a soap- filled scouring pad and rinse thoroughly with a vinegar and water mixture. These deposits are usually a salt residue that cannot be removed by the clean cycle. If the oven is not clean after one clean cycle, repeat the cycle.
You cannot set the oven for cooking until
the oven is cool enough for the door to unlock.
While the oven is self-cleaning, you can
touch the TIMER/CLOCK pad to display the time of day.
To return to the clean
countdown, touch the COOKING TIME pad.
If the shelves become hard to slide,
apply a small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil to a paper towel and wipe the edges of the oven shelves with the paper towel.

Using the self-cleaning oven.

How to Delay the Start of Cleaning

Make sure the clock shows the correct time of day. If your model has a latch, latch the door. Touch the SELF CLEAN pad. Using the + or or the number pads, enter the desired clean time. Touch the DELAY START pad. The earliest start time you can set will appear in the display. Using the + or or the number pads, enter the time of day you want the clean cycle to start. Touch the START pad. On models without a door latch, the door locks automatically. The display will show the start time. It will not be possible to open the oven door until the temperature drops below the lock temperature and the LOCKED DOOR light goes off. The oven shuts off automatically when the clean cycle is complete. When the LOCKED DOOR light is off, slide the latch handle to the left as far as it will go and open the door. If your range does not have a latch, the door will unlock automatically. n The words LOCK DOOR will flash and the oven control will signal if you set the clean cycle and forget to close the oven door or forget to latch the door on models with a latch. n To stop a clean cycle, touch the CLEAR/OFF pad. When the LOCKED DOOR light goes off indicating the oven has cooled below the locking temperature, unlatch the door (on models with a latch) and open the door.

Does not cook - time counts down extremely fast

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.
and please reply back with your brand and model number so we can help you.
