What type of phone do you have? Most phones have a way to swipe up/down to select data on or off. For Iphones, swipe up from bottom and tap on the airplane symbol. On Androids, swipe down from the top and tap on the gear symbol. Scroll until you see airplane mode. Tap to turn on/off.
Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon in the top-right. Swipe down to the User and Backup section, or tap the magnifying glass to type in a search in the top-right and tap Backup and reset.
The last option on this screen is Factory data reset. Tap this, and you'll be given one more warning screen before making the plunge. Review all of the data that will be deleted, then scroll down to the bottom and tap Reset device.
From the home wage swipe down with finger from the top of your kindle then select "wireless." You will see airplane mode on/off on the right. Select the option you want.
