I have a jvc GZ_MG275AA camcorder and a Panasonic tv i can not get it to playback on the television

Are you connecting the leads to the correct input / output sockets?

Testimonial: "I am connecting the red to red yellow to yellow and white to white then the single connector to the camera i get sound but the video is just wiggly coloured lines"

    Red and white are normally audio connections, yellow is video - not sure what you mean by the 'single connector'. Have you tried with just the coloured leads connected ?

    the lead has 3 connectors at one end for the tv and the other end has one connector for the camera,

Problem solved. I was thinking I could delete from the PowerCinema NE for Everio software program that comes with the camera but that is not the case, so it was just a matter of finding where all the video files were stored on the computer itself, ie, "myworks, Everio backup", and delete from there.

Have you installed the jvc drive software from the disc ok, it finds mine and downloads it all into folders. As soon as you plug in the device the software should auto open.

There is a program i heard of halled trackercam but for somereason it doesnt work with my jvc, im not sure why.

SOURCE: Playback on PC has no sound

Are you playing the video back through the camcorders utility ? Sometimes by clicking on the file through windows explorer you will get the picture but no sound, this happens for the Sony camcorder but is fixed by running the playback through the motion picture browser application supplied with the camcorder.

Similar to TOD, MOD is a kind of recording format being used in digital tapeless camcorder like JVC, Panasonic, Canon. MOD video format is comparable to XDCAM EX, HDV and AVCHD.

MOD is used exclusively for standard definition video files, while TOD is used for high definition files. Both MOD and TOD are file-based formats that are stored on a random-access media. Directory structure and naming convention are identical except for extensions of media files. Standard definition video is stored in MPEG program stream container files with MOD extension; in most other systems these files have extension MPG or MPEG.

Cannot copy video from JVC GZ-HD6 camcorder to DVD Recorder
If you can play the vision on your tv via an av connection you should be able to record it onto the recorder. the recorder can record anything thats being played on the tv even if the other device is connected to the tv via another av connection. try this & see if it works.

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH HOW DO WE TRANSFER JVC GZ-HD7AA TO APPLE IMOVIE 8?
