To close an Washing door when it's in the locked position and the door is open, press and hold the oven door light switch while following these simple steps:

• Program the Washing to reset.
• Wait 20 seconds.
• Cancel reset
  
• Wait 20 seconds.
• then press open

Thanks for using FixYa. Error “dlf” means a door latch failure. This means that you’ll need to replace the door latch assembly however before doing that you can leave the washer unplugged for 30minutes so that it resets itself. In the meantime when it’s unplugged just inspect the door latch wiring to ensure all the connector plugs are intact and not loose or broken. You can access the door latch wiring harness by removing the top panel of the washer. To remove the top panel just remove the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, and then lift off. Locate the door latch assembly behind the front panel on the right hand side. Trace all the connectors from the door latch to the Central Control Unit (CCU) and make sure they are properly seated at both ends. If after doing this still the issue is not resolved then unfortunately you have to get the door latch replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

DOOR SWITCH ERROR

If the door has not been opened for 3 consecutive cycles or the door switch is open while the door is locked for more than 5 seconds.

Possible Causes/Procedure

-Door not opened during 3 consecutive cycles.

1. Open and close the door.
2. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.

-Door switch open while door is locked.

1. Push the door and check if it is completely closed.
2. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.

We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.

Try unplugging the washer for 10 minutes, plugging it back in and test to see if the door will unlock. If it doesn't then you have a bad door lock mechanism or contol board or both. You usually can manually unlock the door by removing the bottom front panel, with the washer unplugged, and reaching up into the door lock mechanism. There is a tab or ring on the bottom that you pull to release the door. Open the door and look for broken plastic pieces on the door strike or in the latch on the mechanism. Usually you won't see anything. If no broken pieces then remove the top panel, washer unplugged, and find the ccu. This is the main control board located in the back center of the machine. Check for loose connections at the ccu and for broken wires. Jiggle and push the wiring connectors into the ccu to make sure they are tight. Plug washer in and test to see if it started working. We have had a lot of repairs with this ccu unit as the relays on the board have a bad weld that gives an intermittent connection, causing this repair. If the washer works by plugging these connectors in tight then put it back together and use it. If it fails again then replace the ccu. In some instances the door lock mechanism can be bad. Unfortunately there is no good test for this. To replace the lock mechanism, you remove the top panel,(washer unplugged). Open the door, remove the three screws that hold the lock mechanism to the cabinet, unplug the 3 to 4 wiring plugs from the lock mechanism and install the new assembly. DU is door unlock error - A Door Unlock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to unlock the door 6 times before displaying the error.

Solutions -

Door Lock Mechanism broken.

Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly for foreign objects

Check Wire Harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)

Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

FdL Door lock error A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try to lock it six times before displaying the error code.

Possible Causes / Procedure

• Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.
• Door switch/lock unit failure.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check door switch/lock unit.
3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lock unit and Central Control Unit (CCU).

Press 'drain' & 'spin' together for 3 seconds to see if it clears. This is your control panel lock.
If not cleared unplug the washer & wait for 30 minutes for the CCU (computer) to reset.

If you get the door to open try some WD40 on the door mechanism, not on door, and open/close a few times. "Plug should be off the wall" when trying this, and tinkering inside machine, caution.
