I'm having a video problem with my 55" LG 4k tv. Audio is fine. On screen menus and guides appear normal. I use antenna, hdmi, and wifi (smart) inputs. All are affected.

Ex. I can use smart app, go to Netflix, movie selection is normal. Select movie, get grey snow, audio and subtitles ok.

SOURCE: lost manual...I cannot get DVD or VCR to record

You need to decide which set of inputs or outputs you want to use. To record, and watch what you have recorded on your TV, you will need TWO sets of audio/visual patch cords. One for recording and the other for playing. Let's start with the recording. Look for the Line in or video in plugs on your DVD-VCR unit. Some recorders have separate inputs for the VCR and DVD. Others let you select with the remote. Usually Line 1 is at the back and Line 2 is on the front. Your remote will have "recording source" to let you select, or sometimes you can use the channel up and down arrows to select your input source. Your remote will also allow you to select either the DVD or VCR for recording. Connect the Yellow plug to the Video In socket, and the red and white plugs to audio in., Connect the other end of the cord to the TV or cable box. Yellow goes to Video Out, red and white go to audio out. Recording from the cable box is much easier because you wiull always have a signal going into the DVD-VCR recorder no matter what happens at the TV.  Now look for the Video out connection on the DVD-VCR recorder. Connect the Yellow plug to video out and the red and white plugs to audio out. Ignore the other connections at this point. They are for RGB component video. Your DVD -VCR should have one output for both functions. Use that one.
Now connect that cord to a Video one or Video 2 input on your TV.
Test the set-up. Play a DVD or a VHS tape and try to bring it in using the TV remote.
Then turn on a program and try to record it on  the DVD-VCR, then play it back.
This sounds very complicated, but all that's involved are two patch cords with three plugs on each end - 12 connections in all and color-coded. YELLOW is always video.

My Luxor 55" ultra 4K smart tv will not contact to my WiFi Hub. What do I do?

In the television settings you have to add the Hub SSID and the WPA password. It isn't like Bluetooth in that it searches and finds. It also has to be physically connected with a cable, or it the television is wifi connectible, you have to choose. Find the television manual online Google

I have a Kogan 55" Agora 4K smart LED . I have an hearing device that requires an audio out from the TV, like the earphone plug that doesn't cut off the normal .I'm having trouble. Can you help?

Invest in a good pair of wireless headphones. My wife is hard of hearing, so we have them on both Tv's - one is a 60" Vizio; the other a 42 " Sanyo. They too require connection to an audio out, but still allow for normal listening simultaneously. It may be that you can access the menu, go to audio and make some adjustment there. Or, it may be that the problem is that your particular TV simply won't allow more than one form of audio output at a time. One would expect more from a unit that costly. I assume you are connected everywhere possible via HDMI. If not, that also is a likely cause.

Got a 55 inch smart tv for a gift and dog chewed up remote. How can i get it to play movies on 1080p ? And how can i check to see if its 4k or just standard smart tv?

To play 1080p movie, just do it. No further move needed, cuz most smart TVs have no problem in playing back 1080p full hd videos. As for 4k Ultra hd video, you'd better downscale it to 1080p if you're not sure about your tv resolution.

How do i connect a smart tv that has hdmi to rca cables

Hello,

Utilize the MiFine AV. This is a great product I have used many times located here or anywhere you can find it. I have only used this brand as many other reviews have stated they have problems with the cheap ones from China.

Mifine AV to HDMI HD Video Audio Converter 720p 1080p Mini 3RCA Composite CVBS to HDMI Switcher Portable AV2HDMI Adapter for TV/PC/PS2/PS3/PSX/Blue-Ray DVD

I purchased one for about $30 USD and you can use if for any device that has RCA cables such as a video recorder, VHS player, Wii, etc

Best Wishes,
Joe

How do I set the picture to full screen?

What are you trying to watch? If you are looking at a cable TV box or DVD player through an HDMI input, you will have to adjust the settings in the cable box or DVD menus to match your tv's HDMI input capabilities.
