I'm not sure how old it is Im guessing around 5 years
The number of blinks by model tells you information. Look up capacitor failures on that model on youtube. I have a vizio that did the same thing, and it was a $0.11 capacitor I had to replace... took about 30 minutes, and working great. You'll need to see if you can find someone with that same problem on youtube to be able to find it easilly... requires soldering iron... little screwdrivers and some patience. you can do it!

Usually that fast blink is a good warning that one of the signals is out. Double checked that bulb is same # and all that ? What number is on the bulb? if it's 2057 or 3057, try pulling wires on side of bulb with fingernail, outward to make better contact, to see if that helps.

The ford explorer sport track. Will have a short either at the plug of the multi-function switch or 6 inches down where the column bends the wires during tilt.

normally very easy should be a few screws on the outside of the light cover and maybe pop the rear hatch to see two others but be sure when you try to remove the cover you dont force it once all the screws are out will nearly fall off then the bullbs normally just lightly push in and turn out.Hope this helps

Most likely this is a brake light switch issue. Replace switch.
If your emergency flashers don't work, all flasher bulbs are fine, but flashing too fast, then check and replace Hazard light switch.
